Vete-Katten is a Stockholm institution. It’s a classic konditori and caffé, not unlike the old fashioned Tea Rooms of Paris and London. It’s history dates back to 1928 and nowadays the wonderful cakes and bakes are made under the watchful eye of master pastry chef Johan Sandelin.
Their offering includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. They also hold an alcohol license which makes afternoon tea even more fun!
It’s a great spot for something a little bit more adult, but not too stiff that it would stop you from going in with a stroller.
