Celebrate Sweden’s National Day at Skansen with flag workshops, face painting, and many fantastic children’s activities. The day ends with a spectacular, celebrity packed concert on Solliden Stage in the presence of the Royal Family as the sun-set across Stockholm. Spine-tingling stuff!

Drottningholm Palace Park welcomes visitors of all ages to their National Day celebration on Thurs 6th June 2019.

The sea-port of Strängnäs, just north of Stockholm, is celebrating National Day with a city full of events and activities. Strängnäs is a stunning little seaside village in the northern part of the Stockholm Archipelago.

Celebrate Sweden’s National Day at Hågelbyparken with Tobbe Trollkarl, Gycklargruppen Trix, Parrot shows and Cadillac cars.
As well as the usual singing, dancing and flag waving, you can expect ponyriding, miniature train, Lotto games and allsång. A truly carnival atmosphere in a rare setting, the grounds of the beautiful Hågelbyparken.
Look out for:
Skokloster Palace, set in the north of Stockholm, closer to Uppsala. Half-hour tours showing the unfinished hall and Carl Gustav Wrangel’s rust chamber. Show and market Food and market in the area, music and shows on stage. Arranged in collaboration with Håbo municipality.
During National Day, the Royal Opera, together with Solna City and the Royal Court, invites you to a great celebration in the Hagaparken – this year in the presence of .HH. The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel.
Take part in a packed program on the big stage, buss och lek, and dressing up for all ages at Koppartälten. Bring friends and family – celebrate with singing, dancing, music and picnics in the green!

National Day 2019 coincides with Humlegården’s 400 year anniversary. A full day of celebrations with music and dance on stage, activities around the park and open house at Kungligabibliotek.

National Day is RACE DAY… and a whole day out for the family. The program includes gallop races which are framed by live music, the national anthem, hat parade, children’s area, pony races, and other fun activities.

Possibly one of the largest inner-city celebrations for National Day, Rålambshovsparken. There is so much taking part that it’s difficult to know what is best!
Activities will take place both at Rålambshovsparken and Smedsuddsbadet.
