This week we had the opportunity to try out an Organic Mama teething necklace…what a treat!
Teething in our household is currently en vogue and this was the perfect opportunity to test run a new teething solution.

So far, ‘Sophie’, any water-filled-fridge-cooled chew toy, rubber rings, frozen cucumbers, wet clothes or teething crystals had failed. Not to sound totally over-dramatic, but we were desperate, people! So we jumped at the chance when the lovely folks at Organic Mama offered us a ‘free trial’ via their Instagram feed.
Organic Mama specialises in GOTs certified lux clothing and accessories for mums and babies and their range of teething necklaces (click here) is one of the best I have seen, and most stylish! The necklaces work well with the very scandi-swedish, minimalist, black and white chic. And I promise, they do not look like they’ve been made from play-dough or any other material that has been baked in the oven…
The necklaces are made from 100% food grade Silicone and are guaranteed to be free from BPA/PVC and Lead. They have smart safety breakaway clasps and come wrapped in reusable pouches for you to store them away.
So far..so good, this necklace was sounding aces and within seconds of me taking it out of the packaging littlebear spotted it and was right up in it’s face (or beads)…

…teething is a very sporadic happening with littlebear, it usually occurs in 10 minute intervals at the most inappropriate times i.e. the supermarket or the tube ride somewhere, usually when she is bored, so knowing that I have something to hand (or to neck) that hasn’t been lying on the floor for 24 hours or at the back of the fridge (gads) is great!
In fact, I have already said to myself, ‘we’re buying more’….
