Like the Guggenheim or the Tate, Stockholm’s Moderna Museet is home to Sweden’s modern art gallery. It hosts touring exhibitions from the 20th centuries most prolific artists, including Picasso, Salvador Dali, Judd, Penn and Oppenheim. Travelling exhibitions from Marina Abramovic and Marie-Louise Ekman have been some of the highlights for this last year.

Moderna Museet offers some amazing family centred activities including their own ateljé and weekend family workshops. There is a small play room, but it’s not that exciting. Their barnvagnsvisning (baby and buggy tours) are good, but there are a number of restrictions which make it difficult to really enjoy the event, although their baby painting sessions are FANTASTIC. I would thoroughly recommend it.
