You might have noticed that your social media feeds are full of ads for Loppis, Loppi etc.
This time of year is when Autumnal fairs and yard sales or second hand sale take place all over Stockholm and Sweden. The loppis are an opportunity to clear out before winter and stock up on expensive winter clothes for the kids, cheaply. They are a communal experience for locals to get together and enjoy the last of the summer before winter sets in.
Having been to quite a few myself the best place to follow when they are happening is on Facebook in your local area. Keep an eye out for signs and notices in your local area, too. Especially look out for them on church notice boards or in local parks.
