Monday 27th January 2020, 17:30 – 21:00, Scandic Anglais, Humlegården, Stockholm

The famous Life in Mind are running one of their bi-annual child and baby CPR training courses in English on Monday 27th January 2020. As the title states, this really is one of life’s most important courses. The LBA team have taken it and it offers some really interesting insights into how to deal with an emergency in Sweden for your child. For example, would you know who to call if your child was poisoned? If you’re first guess is 112, you’d be wrong!

Even if you’ve done this before, it might be time for a refresher. The Life in Mind team are pro-instructors, with medical backgrounds, who understand that the simpler the instruction, the better remembered.

The course will cover:

• CPR and First aid for children and babies
• Choking
• Calling 112
• Acute illnesses and accidents
e.g. bleedings, cramps, poisoning, head injuries, drowning

This evening course is 3 hours long including two short breaks and is held at Scandic Anglais in the center of Stockholm. Coffee/tea and a sandwich is complementary.

If you have a small baby that can’t be left behind or you’re struggling to get a babysitter, feel free to bring baby, too. However, if you have older kids, it might be best to leave them at home.
