Sunday jazz sessions for the kids!

When the Tiger says Grr (2013), the composer Anna Einarsson (music) and the author and poet Lotta Olsson (lyrics) created a performance that was loved by both audiences and critics.

Playful lyrics with strong rhymes, catchy melodies between jazz and show with prominent musicians made the gig a success. Lira called it a future “modern children’s classic”.

The sequel, Tiger says Brr (2016) was still about a tiger saying something, but now it is winter. Grr has changed to Brr.

Again, Anna Einarsson wrote the music and Lotta Olsson wrote the lyrics. The score was nominated for the Manifesto award. The group has toured the whole of Sweden and the music has been appreciated by children as well as their parents. At this concert you will mainly hear music from “Brr” but even songs from “Grr” might be mixed in!

The music is performed together with Anna Einarsson by: Elin Forkelid, saxophones Monica Dominique, piano Backa Hans Eriksson, bass and Chris Montgomery, drums.
