Friday 10th and Saturday 11th at Kungsträdgården is Olympic Day. The opportunity for kids in Stockholm to try out Olympic sports, for free.
The initiative is by the Swedish Olympic Committee in in cooperation with the Svensk Postkodlotteriet.
Olympic Day was created to help inspire and wake up the Olympic dream. This time, Danijela Rundqvist, Ice Hockey, Nathalie Larsson, Sports Shooter, Anna Laurell Nash, Boxing, Joakim Dvärby, Judo, and Tord Wikstén, Shooting, will all be in place. Associations and sports federations also offer try-on activities. Among other things, cricket, tennis, handball, golf, fencing and rugby can be tried out.
