In the exhibition LENA ANDERSON’S WORLD we see everything from the first idea sketches to the detailed watercolor paintings printed in the books. Of course there is Linnea, but also favorites such as Maja, Mollan, Storm-Stina, Kotten and Kanin.
Come and listen to the story in Storm-Stina’s house, learn the clock with Uncle Knut, go on the bridge with Linnea at Monet or look in to Maja where she sits in her greenhouse filled with tomatoes. We also get to meet the woman behind the books, see some of Lena Anderson’s watercolors and carbon drawings that have never before been shown to the public. Since the breakthrough book Linnea in the Painters’ Garden, Lena Anderson’s paintings and stories have captured generations of curiosity and reading loss.
An exhibition for every generation that spreads out both inside and out in the Millesgården sculpture park. Lena Anderson has published 46 titles and received both Swedish and international awards and awards.
