RFSU and Women’s March Stockholm will co-host this annual march in Stockholm on May 26,
– demanding that our government show international leadership by standing firm for women’s rights in international negotiations.

• In poor countries, maternity mortality is one of the most common causes of death among the ages of 15 to 19.

• Every year, 40 million women give birth without assistance from a present midwife or other healthcare provider. Afghanistan has (1) midwife per 10,000 inhabitants. In Ethiopia, only 10% of childbirths have a healthcare professionals present.

• Access to sexual information, contraception, safe abortion and maternity care could prevent 9 out of 10 deaths.

This is the second year that Women’s March supports the stroller march (Barnvagnsmarschen).

Meet at Raoul Wallenberg Torg between 12:00 and 13:00 for a pre-warm up session with music and dancing and end the march in Humlegården with a baby friendly rave/disco. There will even be a goodie bag give aways.
