Episode 17: Barnakuten #3

Our 17th episode and our third Barnakuten with Dr James. The Swedish vaccine schedule and questions about vaccinations in Sweden are one of the most searched for topics on the Littlebearabroad website. In today’s episode we talk about the Swedish vaccine schedule, the recent outbreak of Measles in the south of Sweden, the increasing number of people choosing not vaccinating their children in Sweden and what that means for the rest of us. Of course, we talked about much more, as we do, but we had plenty to say on this topic.

In this week’s  episode we say Happy New Year and welcome back to Dr James. Our third Barnakuten episode is all about vaccines. The Swedish vaccine schedule is one of the most searched for things on our website. It’s also very timely with the news from Gothenburg that a major Measles outbreak is currently taking place. A disease which shouldn’t even exist anymore.

We talk about the background to some of these vaccines, the controversy surrounding them and debate the merits of vaccinating for “the greater good”. Of course, as always, we got totally distracted by many other things and ended up talking about totally different things.

Remember if you have any questions that you’d like to ask Dr James, you can send them via this page on the website.
